Easter 09

We had an awesome Easter this year. Started off with early Easter
baskets before 8am Church. Noah came with us and we didn't know, but
the Primary was singing a song in Sacrament. Jon and Noah went up on the stand and
just played with each other the whole time. It was kinda funny and
embarrassing at the same time, but more funny. It was Jon's first time
up there though and we were just proud of him for going up.

Then we came home, ate some food, and had an Easter egg hunt in the
back yard. Both kids are old enough now to be totally into it. Clara
opens the eggs with her mouth, she is focused!

Then over to Nana and Grandpa's house. We dyed some eggs (check out the
concentration on these too), had another Easter egg hunt, and ate SUPER
GOOD food.

Of course it's most important to remember (we kept trying to remind Jon about this all day) that the whole reason we have Easter is because of our Savior and His atonement and resurreciton. We're so thankful for that.

Not a bad day at all...

Awesome Saturday

Last Saturday was awesome... We went boxcar racing, which was way more
fun than I expected. You should have seen (and heard) Clara... she was
more into it than anyone else! It was us, Jorge and Micah, Dad Lau,
Uncle Linn, Shelby, and Jon's school friend Noah with his dad Andy.

After that Noah came over and Jon had his VERY FIRST SLEEPOVER! Crazy
with the two boys but they had a great time. So did we :)

Kauai in March

We got to take a little trip out to Kauai last month and here's a few pics... Thanks Mom and Dad for always making our trips super awesome!

The "dream home" where we spend our time out there. Mom and Dad (and everyone else) put a lot of sweat equity into this house and it's amazing. Even Jon has a hand in it, he only referred to it as the "work house" for a long time...
